Bright Arnica was everywhere on our last hike up Canyon Creek.
Glacier lilies have been on at least 3 of the hikes.
This vista is from the summit of Mount Jumbo, looking over East Missoula & beyond. We followed an old fenceline up a ravine the last twenty minutes to the summit. Mount Jumbo is now owned by Missoula & placed in conservancy.
Shooting Stars are some of the earliest wildflowers to bloom in our area. They were around on most of the hikes. Below was a view looking from the Grant Creek area towards the Rattlesnake area north of Missoula. Our hikes continue to turn into praise & prayer sessions! We have so much for which to thank our Creator!

Now are those the SAME Hallelujah Hikers? They look more robust, beautiful and more younger somehow! Must be all the exercise on those hills and mountains.
Mount JUMBO? That is cute!
Yes, this is the same core group. Others join us from time to time. We are all in our late 50's or early to mid-60's...all fairly fit. A 6-9 mile hike usually burns off a pound or two for me.:)
I am such a couch potato, Cary! I've gotta find someone slow and sluggish to start walking with! I really was impressed with how vibrant these gals look!
