No, our cat is a little on the thin side. She spends her days running after field mice, birds & squirrels. I'm enjoying peeking in on your weigh-ins & thought this photo would be a good reminder to us all.
My weigh-in tomorrow shall be a downer, I'm sure! I have drowned my sorrows in cookies this weekend as I have spent too many hours to count trying to bend the elastic bands of my brain around grade eight new math method of teaching probability and the adding/sub/mult/dividing of integers.
I am a beloved child of God, who by marrying a Jewish believer has assumed the semitic flavor myself. I'm the mother of a very social twenty-one year-old, whom I love dearly but often don't understand well. My Lord is continuing to change the character of this retired Army nurse into His family resemblance through a zillion tiny decisions and responses every day. He is loyally faithful to me in covenantal love and enjoys giving me His hugs at surprising times and in wonderfully creative ways. I hope to be transparent enough to share some of my inner as well as outer life with you in this blog.

Oh my word!
Thanks for the great comic relief! I know I shall think of this Fat Cat and return here for a chuckle!
Is this YOUR cat?
Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Cary! Hope your holiday is really nice.
