With an older teen in and out of the house, I'm slowly but surely learning how to react wisely when someone close to me wants to pick a fight or manipulate with anger:
- Detach emotionally, (physically leave if need be).
- Pray about the situation.
- Draw closer to the Lord.
Louis's cataract surgery was successful. In three weeks, at his postop. appointment, we will see if he'll need new glasses. Rosh Ha Shanah, the Jewish New Year or Feast of Trumpets, is only about a week away. Even as we are watching the news of the areas hit by hurricanes Katrina and Rita, our eyes are also on Israel, God's timepiece.
